1993 British Grand Prix Race Programme

This well-preserved 1993 British Grand Prix Race Programme has the design aesthetics of the early ’90s, and offers a comprehensive guide to the Silverstone event. It comes complete with the race scoring booklet that has the Grand prix results marked in ink.

In 1993, the British Grand Prix was won  by Alain Prost, who clinched victory driving for Williams-Renault. Prost’s strategic brilliance and driving prowess secured him the top spot on the podium, after Damon Hill lead for most of the race. Michael Schumacher, Benetton-Ford, claimed the second position, adding to the his great record.

Gradually Prost closed up on Hill, narrowing the gap to three seconds after the mid-race pit stops. Then, Luca Badoer crashed, bringing out the Safety Car and reducing the gap between Hill and Prost to nothing. The Safety Car came in on lap 40, before Hill’s engine blew two laps later.

Collectors of Formula 1 memorabilia will find this vintage program not only as a valuable historical document but also as a tangible connection to the thrill and intrigue that defined the British Grand Prix in 1993.
